Valence was created for EREDE, a modern jewelry brand renowned for drawing inspiration from sculpture, architecture and industrial design in the conceptualisation of their pieces.
An object of balance, where precise geometry defines the silhouette and yet the surface undulates with a subtle, organic movement. When closed, the subtle dished top gives pieces a temporary place whilst wearers are perhaps considering what to wear for the day.
Hewn from solid aluminium and softened through a fine rumble polish, Valence carries the presence of a crafted metal form that will evolve with time, its surface deepening in character and tone. The twin lids open in a gentle, clamshell motion to reveal a lining of soft suede — a resting place for treasured pieces.
