Areospace research

Year: 2023 & 2019
Independent studies and research allow the studio to explore themes within transportation and related fields allowing freedom to experiment and contribute to the development of innovative concepts, which in turn help to inform future endeavors.

The two showcased projects explore distinct themes within air transport.

The first concept revolves around addressing the spatial limitations present in contemporary aircraft. It proposes a redesign of the traditional door zone to efficiently fulfill its multifaceted roles as the main entrance, a functional galley, and a space for passengers to stretch their legs or access lavatories.

The second study investigates methods to enhance passenger wellness during flights. It involves creating a meditative space where passengers can retreat, stretch, and mentally rejuvenate during their journey. This initiative incorporates augmented reality (AR) and audio technologies, with a focus on reimagining existing spaces within the aircraft for this purpose.
