The Transit lounge in Perth is an architectural project designed as part of the passenger experience for Qantas customers flying from the east coast of Australia on the 787 Dreamliner. Designed to coincide with the launch of the first service to directly connect Australia to Europe, the transit lounge focuses on creating an opportunity for passengers to refresh and prepare for the flight ahead.
A yoga studio, refresh area, hydration station and light therapy in the showers were all conceptualised to ensure passengers had multiple ways to prepare their bodies for the long journey.
