Continental Shelf

A modular shelving system, consisting of a number of components designed to attached to a slotted metal rail fixed to the wall. The Continental Shelf was borne from the need to create a system to fit within a range of dimensions in order to take the place of static, in built joinery. Conceptualised to function across two key bay widths, Continental is configurarable towards a broad range of functions in both residential and commercial spaces.
Laker selected a narrow palette of either American Oak or Walnut as available options, enabling Continental to synchronise with lighter, brighter spaces, as well as more moody applications.
Beyond the range of shelving and joinery options, Continental also provides options for integrated desks in order to convert the assembly to a small workspace, either permanent or temporary.
